KIK Trading was founded in 1994. It is Germany's largest textile mall and an international large-scale supermarket chain group. As an international large-scale supermarket chain group, KIK has more than 3,000 shopping malls abroad. The Shanghai headquarters was designed by EDS Construction.
When you walk into the KIK office, what comes into view is the KIK brand logo. It is made of KIK's corporate colors of red and gray U-shaped acrylic. It is heated and bent to create a luminous logo character. This design element not only brings visual enjoyment, It also leaves a lasting memory for visitors.
Lighting design is also a highlight of the KIK project. Lighting plays an important role in creating different functional areas and giving them a unique spatial atmosphere. The sample room integrated with smart culture is equipped with intelligent human body sensing lights. When people enter the room, the lights will automatically turn on. If no one is detected in the room, the lights will automatically turn off after 30 seconds, which can save energy consumption and protect the environment.
From the front hall to the large conference room, to the open staircase conference room and the general manager's office, they are all equipped with advanced lighting intelligent control systems. Different scene modes are set according to different scene applications, such as conference mode, work mode, etc. Different scene modes can adjust the brightness of the light loop.
The office space adopts white, gray and wood grain colors as the main colors, and corporate red is used in local areas to enhance the overall visual experience.
The large conference room uses movable partitions to make the space more flexible. At the same time, the room is equipped with an embedded TV to meet daily video conferencing functions.
The design of the open-step conference room fully considers practicality and aesthetics, using gray + red sound-absorbing panels to outline a "K" shape on the wall. Without the seriousness of traditional conference rooms, it is freed from the tense working atmosphere, giving employees more vitality and energy, and making communication and collaboration more effective.
Corporate teams spend most of their day in the office, so the working environment is another important design element of this case. Therefore, the design team planned a comfortable rest area for employees. The tea room is equipped with a coffee machine, refrigerator, microwave oven, and direct drinking water machine to meet the daily needs of the team members.
The office furniture adopts height-adjustable tables, which employees can adjust according to their physical conditions. This kind of personalization not only meets the needs of different employees but also increases their sense of control over their work, thereby increasing job satisfaction.
EDS has created a multi-functional office space this time. Every detail is full of art and ingenuity, proving once again that good design can bring unlimited possibilities to the brand.
