Junzheng Logistics is part of the Junzheng Group, a fortune 500 firm, and provides a full range of logistics services. It operates the largest domestic and sixth-largest specialized liquid chemical fleet in the world.
The EDS team, as the project's general contractor in Shanghai, has a firm grasp on the corporate connotation and strategic goals of the client and has therefore created a space plan that is both aesthetically pleasing and functionally optimal. Today, I'll take you on a tour of the "Navigation"-themed logistics office to help you get a feel for the aesthetics there.
The front foyer, about 100 square meters, is decorated mostly in a minimalistic fashion. The vastness of the area has a startling aesthetic effect on viewers. The long, thin light line in the room is the first thing the eye is drawn to, creating a striking contrast with the more traditional three-dimensional long volume. The infinite wealth of simplicity. It’s the allure of spatial depth and complexity.
The white marble used for the foyer floor is of the highest quality. The understated elegance of modern minimalism is on full display. The scene from "When people walk on the marble" right now is like a ship passing between white glaciers.
The Yashi white marble laid on the wall is carved with arcs, like a wave form, and the delicate beauty is exhibited in the solid material, which doubles the feeling of design and adds a sense of hierarchy.
The conference room's metal construction complements the black marble flooring, and the room's subdued lighting conveys a feeling of dignified elegance and light luxury that is consistent with the room's productive and steady tempo of work.
In keeping with the design's "modern, efficient, and adaptable" theme, the space features clear delineations between the various work areas (such as conference rooms, shared office areas, rest areas, exhibition halls, and so on) to foster communication and teamwork. The strict layout makes more sense in terms of space circulation, and it's easier to get from one place to another.
There were hiccups throughout construction, but the team worked together and eventually got through them all. The construction and material transfer time is quite urgent because we need to finish 5,000 square meters in 50 days the organizational structure, including reporting relationships, and job responsibilities.
The EDS team believes that this is not just a working environment, but also hopes to promote the interaction between people through space. Here we will feel a wonderful nautical visual journey, and we will witness the beginning chapter of the project together.
