COMING SOON: Star Kindergarten Sheshan International School

Speaking of Sheshan Ivy League International Kindergarten, it can also be said to be one of the "star kindergartens" in Shanghai. The Sheshan Jingteng International Kindergarten, which took a total of three years to build, became the subject of scrutiny by major architectural media as soon as it was completed.

Regardless of the Montessori education concept or various impressive designs, this work can be regarded as an unsurpassed pioneer in the subsequent Montessori kindergartens.

Today, the Sheshan International School, which is adjacent to the Sheshan Ivy League International Kindergarten, is also about to be completed. Adhering to the kindergarten's advanced design concept and excellent landing construction, this time EDS is fortunate to participate in this large-scale project totaling more than 10,000 square meters as the general contractor.

This project has many special difficulties, so from the beginning of the project, a special response team started to solve the project difficulties as soon as possible.

The first difficulty encountered by the project team was the renovation of the old house. The project needs to renovate the old houses for more than 20 years. The houses are relatively old, and the structures and various facilities are in disrepair. In addition, the project also needs to reinforce the structures that do not meet the design requirements, and the amount of work is very large. Including a total of more than 30,000 square meters of wall renovation projects, which need to be completed in the early stage also put a lot of pressure on the project team.

Secondly, due to the construction of the roof, the waterproof and thermal insulation work of the entire project gets very heavy. Under normal circumstances, this work alone takes several weeks.

Fortunately, the project team started the working group in advance, and under the premise of careful research and close cooperation, the construction period of these two "big projects" was shortened to the planned time, and the tasks were completed in high quality.

Immediately afterward, vertical transportation became a not-so-big problem: there are a lot of building materials, including gypsum board, light steel keel, cement, yellow sand, and blue tiles, which need to be transported to more than 2 floors of the space for the construction. Because there is no elevator, the transportation of dozens of tons of building materials once brought the project to a standstill.

After observing that the progress was slowing down, the project team immediately activated the response mechanism, and urgently transferred several winches to lift the derrick, and finally solved the problem.

After solving the transportation problem, waiting for the project team is the "big boss" of this project: various complex spaces and special construction projects. Including civil construction grooving, backfilling, reinforced concrete wrapping and concrete pouring, and so on.

After repeated experiments and planning, these special projects were finally solved one by one.

It is worth mentioning that there are many people involved in this project. In addition to us as the general contractor, there are more than a dozen subcontractors designated by the owner to participate in the project. Therefore, this project also involves a lot of management coordination and communication. And Mo Pai works. As early as in the early stage, the project team identified the construction interface of each subcontractor through adequate mapping, and re-coordinated the overall construction arrangement and quotation in a timely manner to prevent wrangling due to unclear work content arrangements during the construction process,

At the same time, when the construction officially starts, the entire project adopts fully enclosed management, and all personnel stay and dress uniformly. Although this adds a lot of workload to the management department, it greatly improves the overall efficiency of the project and the quality of construction. Therefore, all hard work is worth it.

In the end, through unremitting efforts, the project team made more than a dozen teams coordinated like a team and completed the construction work of the entire project efficiently and with high quality.

Thanks to everyone's efforts, this project finally landed smoothly. This is inseparable from the careful arrangement of the project, flexible response, and efficient teamwork, all of which are the best manifestation of our pursuit of project quality and the high degree of responsibility for the owner.
